Band F.T.Island sued a cosmetics company.

On the 27th, the agency of F.T.Island said, "We sued the cosmetics company Barbie Pet on the 24th."

In April 2011, F.T.Island made a 6-month model contract with the cosmetic brand Barbie Pet. This contract was applied only for within Korea, but Barbie Pet used the model shots in Japan, Malasia, etc.

Also, Barbie Pet used the commercials of F.T.Island even when the contract was over on December 19th.

The agency of F.T.Island thus decided to sue for $40,000 per member, totaling up to $200,000.

One representative of the agency said "Because of the wave of k-pop stars worldwide, many contracts and copyrights are being violated and broken. We need to be aware that this is threatening the k-pop wave itself. We must make sure that no other stars are victimized after this incident."
