On March 5th, representatives of the city of GangNam in Seoul released a statement saying that the Girls' Generation will be the honorary ambassador for the city of GangNam starting on the 7th of this month.

Pictures of the Girls' Generation will be added to places like, Incheon International Airport and many places around subway stations. Their photos will be present especially in places where foreign visitors usually go. The international fame of the Girls' Generation is assumed to create a friendly atmosphere in the city for foreign visitors.

Representatives from the city of GangNam released a statement saying, "We are working on making the members of Super Junior our honorary ambassadors as well as the Girls' Generation." and "We will also create a tour around famous record labels like SM, JYP, and YG for the fans of K-Pop."
