JYJ’s Apology for Assaulting Fans

JYJ gave their official apology regarding their recent assault controversy.

JYJ member’s Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu held a press conference on March 8 in Santiago, Chile at Radisson Hotel to acknowledge their mistake and apologize for the series of events regarding their fans.

“I wish to apologize for my wrong actions in the past. I’m very sorry to have troubled many of our fans who are worried about us,” shared Jaejoong.

Recent report of a magazine about JYJ’s member who has allegedly assaulted their fans has caused a spur of controversy.
Jaejoong stated, “We will do our best not to fail our loving fans even if we are faced once again in mentally and emotionally difficult situations. We will do our best to cherish our loving fans and provide them with the best stage.”

At the same time JYJ recently mentioned about the extreme interest some fans have shown which prevents them from having a normal daily life.

“Since our debut in 2004 we are truly thankful for the continuous love that we have received from our fans. However on the other hand there were difficulties that we have faced with some extreme fans,” shared Yoochun.

He added, “It felt like living in a prison without bars as someone is always watching and wants to share everything. All though we struggled to avoid and escape but the emotional pain made us feel like being trapped in space.”

Joonsu shared, “In the beginning we dismissed them as fans that have excessive love towards us, but once they started stealing our social security number, stalking us everywhere we go and overhearing our phone conversations then it was too much.”

He added, “They frequently invade our personal life by trespassing into our home. This has destroyed our daily life. We ask to allow us at least a minimal lifestyle as humans in this unspeakable situation that we are facing.”
