Big Bang with a successful comeback launched the first global event ‘2012 BIGBANG COVER CONTEST.’ Asking fans to produce a cover video of Big Bangs title songs ‘Blue’ or ‘Bad Boy.’ YG surprised fans with yet another cover contest.

The first contest entries concluded on March 14, 11:59PM KST with a total of 1,305 video submissions. The top entries will be announced on April 3 and voting will take place until April 10. The winner will be announced on April 17.

The first contest had many video submissions from Europe, Spain, France, Portugal, and U.S. and all the way to Southeast Asia such as Malaysia, Indonesia and Mexico.

The second global event ‘BIGBANG DANCE COVER CONTEST’ is now asking fans to produce a dance cover video of Big Bang title song ‘Fantastic Baby.’

This time the winners will be selected as top 10 best dance awards who will receive Big Bang ‘Alive’ good gift box along with a signed CD with a personal message from Big Bang. The first place winner will receive a change to visit Korea and opportunity to meet Big Bang.

The deadline for the submission is on March 26, 11:59PM KST. Top entries will be announced on April 17 and the voting will take place until April 24. The winner will be announced on May 1.

So far there have been 4 videos submitted as of March 13, 2:18PM EST.
