TVXQ Kicks Off Super Arena Concert of ‘Live Tour 2012: Tone’

TVXQ finished the first day performance at Saitama Super Arena concert on March 17 with an estimated 37,000 fans at its maximum capacity. The duo will perform two extra days in the same venue.

The concert at Saitama Super Arena is significant that it signals the beginning of the Super Arena/Dome scale of ‘Live Tour 2012: Tone’ concert.

The tour has garnered large interest as the total Japan tour is expected to draw in over 600,000 fans. As the popularity of the group increased the demands of the fans were heard by AVEX Group in Japan. The label announced to add two additional concerts each at Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome.

The 5th tour of TVXQ was originally scheduled to cover 20 shows throughout 9 cities in Japan over the course of 3 months. However as tickets to the tour were sold out in less than a minute additional stops were added bringing the total number of concerts to 26 in 11 different cities.

The upcoming Super Arena concerts will be March 18-19 in Saitama, then Tokyo Dome on April 14-16 followed by the Kyocera Dome for three days on April 21-23.
