YG Entertainment New Boy Group 'Winner' to Hold First Japan Event before Official Debut

YG Entertainment's new boy group, WINNER, will be holding their first Japan event.

Today, YG revealed that the group would be holding a 'Hello! WINNER' event on December 2 in Osaka and meet with fans.

WINNER is YG's first boy group in 8 years and was chosen through an Mnet survival program.

WINNER is currently following Big Bang around their 6 dome tour and performing the opening act.

They have been performing their song, "Go Up" and "Officially Missing You," which were both songs that they sang on the survival program.

Also last month, they held a high touch event before their debut and met with around 3,000 fans as well.

A Japan official stated, "This is Winner's first Japan event. Their popularity in Japan is just as hot as it is in Korea. They are a group to watch out for."

On the other hand, WINNER is currently preparing for their official debut.
