Godzilla Creator Confirms Hedorah For 2014 Remake And The Smog Monster Sequel! Reboot Cast Members Join Avengers 2 As Scarlet Witch And Quicksilver!

As the 2014 "Godzilla" remake looms closer, legendary creator Yoshitmisu Banno has confirmed the appearance of Hedorah as well as a sequel to his 1971 film "Godzilla vs. The Smog Monster!"

During a recent interview with Godzilla Fans Universe, Banno confirmed that a short film he once produced featuring Godzilla and Hedorah became the inspiration for the 2014 remake.

"I first started to produce an I-MAX Godzilla movie of only a 40 minute running time, having obtained the permission to use the characters of 'Godzilla' and 'Hedorah' from TOHO Co. Ltd. This project developed to a fundamental theatrical movie thanks to the commitment of Legendary Pictures."

Meanwhile, it seems "Godzilla" the 2014 remake will not be the only upcoming Godzilla movie.

"I am planning the Sequel of 'Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster' now," added Banno.

But most importantly, it seems the chances are likely that in addition to the new spider kaiju leaked by UrbanCollector, Hedorah will also be seen in the 2014 movie!

Meanwhile, it seems that in addition to dodging Godzilla and Hedorah, cast members Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen will both appear in "The Avengers: Age of Ultron."

While in "Godzilla" 2014 Olsen and Taylor-Johnson play husband and wife, they will play mutant siblings Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, according to Examiner!

"Godzilla" will be released May 16, 2014 while "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" will come out May 1, 2015!

Are you getting excited to see our favorite kaiju come back?
