OST Roundup:Lena Park's 'My Wish' Provides The Soundtrack for Two of 'Heirs' Most Romantic Moments

As the romance between Lee Min Ho's Kim Tan and Park Shin Hye's Cha Eun Sung reaches a boiling point, the soundtrack for Heirs gets even hotter. Lena Park (Park Jung Hyun) lends her voice to Part 8 of the Heirs soundtrack with the ballad My Wish which has been used for the pivotal scene of the forehead kiss in episode 14 and the lengthy closet kiss between Cha Eun Sung and Kim Tan in episode 15.

Cold Cherry's Growing Pain 2 is also on Part 8 of the soundtrack and is intended to be the theme for Kim Woo Bin's Choi Young Do. Young Do has stepped up as episodes 15 and 16 progressed to become true friend to both Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sung, while still maintaining his rebellious streak.
Heirs experienced a drop in ratings with episode 15 as audiences have started to tune into IU and Jang Geun Suk's Pretty Man or Bel Ami. Soundtrack staple Melody Day, who has most recently provided vocals for Master's Sun, Medical Top Team, and Marry Him If You Will, sings There Is Someone I Love on Part 2 of the Pretty Man soundtrack.
The band LUNAFLY is featured on Part 2 of the Pretty Man soundtrack with Lacking A Sense of Direction, an upbeat single which starkly contrasts with the emotional depth of There Is Someone I Love.
As the plot continues to develop with Pretty Man, the soundtrack continues to trend towards more progressive tunes. Hopefully, this soundtrack will feature a duet with Jang Geun Suk and IU.
Spica's Kim Boah is featured on Part 2 of the soundtrack for Love For Ten-Generation of Youth, a mobile drama which is currently starring INFINITE's Lee Sung Yeol as a socially awkward engineering student. Kim Boah sings Even If The Heart Says on the newest addition of the soundtrack. Clara and 4Minute's Jihyun also star in this drama which is based on the popular novel. 4Minute's Jihyun and Jiyoon provided the beautiful vocals for Part 1 of the soundtrack for the mobile drama.
The soundtracks for this week's original soundtrack roundup reflect the diverse nature of the dramas that are currently airing. Since the holiday season is upon us, Korean dramas have taken a turn away from melodramas such as Secret and Suspicious Housekeeper with more lighthearted stories awaiting audiences.
