This weekend, Ailee headed to Perth, Australia to participate in omnibus-event 'Feel Korea' which also featured MBLAQ, Wheesung and Alexander.

In an exclusive interview with KpopStarz affiliate publication, The AU Review, Ailee shares the concepts behind her 2013 hit song, 'U & I', which coincidentally also was about the breakup of a relationship. Ailee confirms in the interview that the song and the video were of the same concept. On working with Shinsadong Tiger on the track, Ailee only had fond memories to share, "Recording with him was really comfortable. And, the way he directed the song made me feel more confident about my singing. So, I think that's why the track came out really good."

On her 2014 plans, Ailee seems to be really excited to get back to the studio and to bring what she does best for her fans. She says, "In 2014, hopefully soon, everyone will be able to hear a new song come out. Maybe a comeback." As to the question, when exactly that will be, Ailee doesn't give further details on dates. "I want to keep you guessing," she said. The singer was previously announced to take a much needed hiatus and break from activities after her confirmed performances remaining for the year.

In her first appearance in Australia, Ailee confirms her professionalism and her desire to meet with her fans all over the globe, perhaps even more than her need to take a break especially in the wake of the recent turbulent issue she faced. "I am looking forward to see my Australian fans. Cuz I missed the chance to see them last year and I felt really uneasy about that. And, I'm really really glad that I'm finally here and really excited to see everyone's reactions."

As to what people can expect in her performance, the solo singer promised, "the usual powerful and passionate stage" and says "I am really looking forward to the connection between myself and the audience tonight. So, hopefully I get a really good response."

In a message to her fans, Ailee is proud of Aileeans being very supportive and kind. "I really really love my fans so much. Thank you," she tells them sincerely. Through her Christmas message she continued, "Thank you very much for your undivided support and unconditional love. It drives me to be better and motivates me to make better music. So, thank you so much for everything."

It appears that even through the roughest of scandals, all is well for Ailee, as seen in the exclusive interview. She rests in the unconditional love and support of Aileeans, who have only believed in her and her music throughout the ordeal.
