As 2013 nears its end, K-pop fans are quickly ready to name the most popular songs of the year, but what about the most underrated?
Although songs like "Missing You" by 2NE1, "Coup D'etat" by G-Dragon, and "Bar Bar Bar" by Crayon Pop have received worldwide acclaim, here is a brief mention of five songs which are much too underrated.

Roy Kim: "Love Love Love"
Although the Superstar K4 winner has received a lot of notoriety for the song "Bom Bom Bom," there are far fewer views for his follow-up single, "Love Love Love." His musical style may not be traditionally K-pop, but his songs are catchy and possibly underrated with international fans.
Boys Republic: "Party Rock"
A new boy group under Universal Music Korea, Boys Republic has a lot of heavy competition this year. Still, their 2013 debut efforts should be praised, including their catchy dance single "Party Rock." Currently, the music video has garnered less than a million views in almost six months, and is sorely underrated.
Lim Kim: "All Right"
The Superstar K3 alumnus has released a string of singles and music videos in 2013. Lim Kim may not be a chart-topper, but her sultry and unique voice should be recognized. A good example of this is the single "All Right."
Lee Yu Rim: "Call My Name"
Lee Yu Rim, who gained attention through tvN's "The Romantic," is definitely a talented singer/songwriter. With the help of composer of Kim Hyung Suk and album producer JeA of Brown Eyed Girls, her debut single "Call My Name" is unusual, catchy, and fun. Sadly, the underrated music video has barely broken 100,000.
K-pop has tackled every musical genre imaginable, but how many can cite Bollywood as inspiration? Global Link, otherwise known as the "tomboy" girl group, released "Gi-Yeuk" in October, a single with fast dance moves and an unforgettable rhythm. In an industry with countless dance tracks, this one still manages to stand out.
