Natalie Portman on Thor 2 Final Love Scene With Chris Hemsworth: ‘It Was So Passionate’; Find Out Why!

If you are the God of Thunder, you can do everything you want.
That includes kissing your own wife who's not even included in the film credits.
The kiss between Thor, played by 30-year-old Chris Hemsworth, and mortal scientist Jane Forster (Natalie Portman) at the end of "Thor 2: The Dark World" was extra passionate.

But the reason why Chris Hemsworth's wife, 37-year-old Elsa Pataky, isn't jealous is because Natalie wasn't even present during the kissing scene. What? That's just like a scene straight from Leonardo DiCaprio's mind-bending film "Inception."
Apparently, Natalie Portman was working on her own film when the reshoot was taken in Hong Kong. The director needed a woman right away and there was Chris' wife who was perfect for the role as it gives the kissing scene a little extra passion.
Elsa happily played along and put on the wig and costume meant for Natalie Portman. Even their one-year-old daughter India Rose was excited.
How did they pull off the scene without giving away the ruse? No computer graphics animation, just plain old camera angles.
Natalie called it "a perfect solution."
Both Chris Hemsworth and Elsa are expecting their second child.
Natalie, who won an Oscar for her dark portrayal in the "Black Swan," has a two-year-old son with choreographer Benjamin Millepied.
Thor 2: The Dark World continues the adventures of the arrogant God of Thunder, son of Odin and half-brother to Loki. This time around, Thor will have to save the nine realms from a race of powerful beings called the Dark Elves.
The film is the sequel to 2011 box-office success, Thor. With a budget of around $150 million, Thor grossed an estimated $500 million worldwide.
The Dark World, meanwhile, premiered on top of the box office in November as it earned $86 million during the opening weekend. So far, the film has grossed around $187 million.
