K-Pop Crossover [VIDEO]: 2NE1 Set To Appear On 'The Bachelor' Featuring Juan Pablo Galavis!

As 2NE1 expands the popularity of K-pop, the YG ladies will appear in another international crossover, this time with ABC's hit reality dating series, "The Bachelor."

During a 2NE1 mini-concert at the Youngdeungpo Times Square in Seoul, the cast of the upcoming season of "The Bachelor" was spotted, including Juan Pablo Galavis.

According to a press release by ABC, the 2NE1 concert was in fact a "date" for Galavis and the contestants, and all the cast members had to perform as backup dancers for Dara, Minzy, CL, and Bom!

“While a couple of the girls look super into it, and the most neon-clad of the bunch — Elise Mosca— does her best to dance close to the red pants-wearing Juan Pablo as much as possible while showing off her skills, it mostly just feels really awkward. What’s the point of the date?" wrote one news outlet according to YG Ladies.

"We’re not exactly sure, but we are surprised to see that Juan Pablo isn’t the awesome dancer he would have us believe, considering how often he tweets about needing a salsa dance partner who can keep up with him…”

Season 18 of "The Bachelor" will premiere January 5, and hopefully more international fans will get to see the singing talents of 2NE1 and K-pop idols as a whole.

However, this is not the first time 2NE1 has been featured on American television.

Despite being a Korean musical act, K-Pop sensation 2NE1 graced U.S. hit series "So You Think You Can Dance" in August to great success.

2NE1 debuted its hit single "I am the Best" in 2011, and during the "So You Think You Can Dance" Top 8 episode, choreograph Mark Kanemura decided to use the song for a futuristic pop jazz number.

Even better, the choreography and the dance number received a standing ovation, with great compliments from the judges.
