Christmas came a little early for EXO fans today.

Popular 12-member idol group EXO unveiled the music video for their new holiday single "Miracles in December" on December 4.

The group announced through their agency, SM Entertainment, last week that they would be releasing a winter-themed EP, Miracles in December, on December 9 and would first be performing the title track on Mnet's M! Countdown on December 5.

The lead track, "Miracles in December," and its music video were revealed to fans through EXO's official YouTube channel today in two versions - one Korean and one Chinese.

The ballad track is full of bittersweet, romantic feelings and is beautifully sung by Baekhyun, D.O, and Chen (with Luhan in D.O's place for the Chinese version). The three members perfectly harmonize and express the emotions of the winter season through their passionate vocals.

Because "Miracles in December" is part of the special album release for EXO fans this holiday season, this week's music show performances will be handled by Baekhyun, D.O, and Chen without the other members.

However, SM Entertainment clarified that the special stage is not a reflection of any official sub-unit activities as was perviously rumored.

After the holiday album's release, other special performances can be expected from various EXO members.

"We are planning to also have other members go on stage for different performances," explained the agency. "We are preparing diverse performances because this album is a special album that captures the essence of winter and is filled with thanks for the fans."
