Tim Tebow News Update: ESPN, Fox Sports and CBS Sports In Bidding War To Hire The Most Searched Athlete Of 2013

Tim Tebow was previously reported to have been considering shifting his career to sports news casting. The NFL football quarterback has been out of work for nearly four months now after being released by the Patriots in August.

With news of him being unable to land a team in NFL three giant TV networks were said to be at war to get him to hire him in their network.

ESPN, CBS and Fox have all expressed their interest in hiring the magnanimous Tebow according to different sources.

ESPN's SEC Network, which will be on air on Aug. 21, 2014 is developing its own edition of "College Gameday" and  it was said to have considered Tebow to host the show. The show was said to be hosted by other two former SEC athlete with Rece Davis would be playing the role of Lee Corso as the voice of the South Paul Finebaum and the other one is still unnamed.

However, ESPS is facing some heavy competition with CBS Sports - which provides the best SEC games every week. CBS reportedly wanted to have Tim Tebow on their show that it's willing to make major changes just to get the NFL superstar.

Fox sports is reportedly eyeing on Tebow as well. With Tebow being named as the most searched athlete in the United States for 2013, for both search engines Bing and Yahoo. Landing a job on any of the three giant networks would definitely provide a spark on there shows.

Meanwhile, skier Lindsey Vonn and her boyfriend Tiger Woods followed the list . Coming in the fourth spot was Louisville's cager Kevin Ware, who got his fame from a gruesome injury in the NCAA where a piece of his bone popped out from his right leg. Concluding the fifth spot was Ray Lewis, the 17 year Super Bowl veteran who retired after winning and is now in ESPN working as a NFL analyst.
