Arrow Season 2 Spoilers: Clock King Villain Casting, The Particle Accelerator, And Everything Flash!

As "Arrow" season 2 heads closer to its fall finale, spoilers have surfaced regarding the rise of a new villain, Barry Allen aka The Flash, and more!

According to TVLine, "Arrow" is getting ready to introduce a new villain from the DC Comic canon.

Currently, spoilers confirm that casting notices have gone out for an actor in his 40s or 50s who has "the mind of a chess grandmaster, and can envision all the interlocking pieces of Starling City and adjust them in favor of his crimes."

That's right, it appears Clock King aka William Tockman will make his grand entrance at some point during season 2.

And if you've been watching "Arrow" this season, you'll notice various mentions of a particle accelerator, and spoilers confirm that the one person who will be most affected is none other than Barry Allen aka The Flash.

Played by Grant Gustin ("Glee"), Barry Allen will make his debut in tonight's episode of "Arrow," and here are some things you need to know about The Flash alter ego.

"Barry comes to Starling City because there is an unexplained robbery at Queen Consolidated, and Barry is very interested in the unexplained, for reasons we find out over the course of these two episodes," teased "Arrow" executive producer Andrew Kreisberg.

"He's the opposite of Oliver in a lot of ways - outgoing and funny, a little bit unsure of himself and smart."

And one person who will connect with Barry right away is Felicity.

"[Because] Barry and Felicity are so similar - they're both a bit uncomfortable in their own skins and very likable and personable - it just seemed like they would instantly hit it off, which would just complicate things for Oliver even more. It felt like the right way to go."

As fans may know, "The Flash" will also be getting its own pilot. Originally, "Arrow" season 2 episode 20 was supposed to be the backdoor pilot, but plans will be altered and the "Arrow" mythology will remain focused on Oliver.

"[A backdoor pilot] actually made it a little bit harder because we were going to have to take a right turn [from] where we were in our ongoing story to incorporate that."

What do you think of these "Arrow" season 2 spoilers?
