BTS Holds a Successful Japan Showcase, 'New Hallyu Stars'

Group BTS held a successful Japan showcase and began showing their upgrade to 'hallyu star' status.

On December 7, BTS held their showcase at the Shibuya 'O-WEST'.

They received an overwhelming number of fans wanting to attend the concert that there were more fans than seats. BTS decided to hold another concert next year on January 6-7 for the fans that were not able to make it to this one.

Also on the day of the concert, there were so many fans trying to buy a ticket that they had to stop selling the tickets earlier than planned.

During their showcase, they sang a total of 6 songs including, "No More Dream", "N.O" and more.

They promised to always be a hard working group and to show their best effort for their fans.

Their agency also stated how surprised they were for the unexpected turnout of fans. BTS has not officially debuted in Japan and yet they received much attention.

BTS is now slowly becoming the next generation artist to take a leap towards the Hallyu wave.
