KARA's Universal Music Japan Contract Extended

Popular girl group KARA extended their contract with Japanese label.

DSP Media announced on Tuesday that KARA has extended their exclusive contract with Japanese label Universal Music Japan.

DSP Media stated, “The contract was to expire this August however we have extended the contract with Universal Music Japan until December 2013 for another year and four months. The girls Japan tour tickets have been sold out which added two extra dates showing their constant popularity.”

The Japan tour was originally to start at Yokohama on April 14 to Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Tokyo covering 10 performances in 5 cities. The tickets of the entire shows were sold out on March 20 as soon as it went on sale. Therefore KARA has added two extra dates at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo on May 26 and 27.

KARA is currently to be promoting their 6th single ‘SPEED UP/GIRLS POWER’ in Japan.
