World star Psy, originator of "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman" has finally chosen the title song for his new album, and is on his way to finishing preparations for his comeback.

According to a music industry rep on December 9th, Psy has worked on many different songs in the past several months, and had been contemplating which song to choose as his title song for the new album. He finally chose his title song, and has gone into preparations to record the song. However, it's still unclear whether the release will be sometime this year or next year.

One rep stated, "Psy never thought to release his next song quickly to ride on the popularity of his songs 'Gangnam Style' and 'Gentleman.' Instead, he is now putting even more thought into his next comeback. That's why he's poured out so much energy and effort into picking his next title song. Now that the title song has been decided, his comeback is not too far off. However, we won't know for sure until he's done working on his entire album." The rep continued, "Psy won't release any new songs until he feels that it is perfect."

Psy has been working with his composer partner Yoo Gun Hyung, who also helped him on his previous YouTube sensations "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman." Psy uploaded onto his Twitter on July 30th, "Already done with 3 songs and they are kinda nice" and upped the expectations of his fans.

Since Psy has decided on a title song, it's expected that his comeback will be sometime in the near future. There's even a chance that if he's done early enough, he might announce his new album at the holiday concert that's taking place at the end of this month. Psy's end-of-the-year concert will take place from December 20th through the 24th at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul. He will be holding two different concerts on the Christmas Eve, for a total of 5 concerts.

On the other hand, if he wants to pour new wine into a new wineskin, he might put off announcing his new album until next year. We'll just have to wait and see whether Psy will release his new album at the end of 2013 to go out with a bang, at the beginning of 2014 to get the New Year going.
