Psy proved his worth as a world star by taking the #1 spot on 6 different Billboard charts.

According to a statement made by Universal Republic Records on December 11th, Korean star Psy took the number 1 spot on 6 different Billboard charts for the holiday special in December. He was recognized as the number 1 dance/electronic streaming artist, rap streaming artist, and world digital artist. Not only that, his song "Gangnam Style" was number 1 for dance/electronic song, rap song, and world digital song.

It's already been over a year since "Gangnam Style" was released, and since then there have been other emerging trends such as the "Harlem Shake" and "The Fox" that have been nicknamed the 2nd generation Gangnam Style. It's amazing, then, that despite being over a year old, "Gangnam Style" still topped a whopping 6 charts.

Currently there are over 1.84 billion views on YouTube, and still holds the record for most viewed music video.

Likewise, Psy's other hit "Gentleman" is also receiving a lot of attention from fans. The music video for "Gentleman" has over 598 million views.

Psy will be holding his end-of-the-year concert from December 20th through the 24th at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium to celebrate the holidays with his fans his year. His ticket sales are currently number 1 on Interpark Ticket Ranking. There are a total of 12,000 tickets available for each one of his performances, and he will have a total of 5 performances over the 4 days, for a total of 60,000 tickets.
