Free games for Xbox Live Gold members this December are "Gears of War" and "Shoot Many Robots."

The first of the two free games for Xbox Live Gold members, Gears of War became available on the Game Store for 0 Microsoft points on December 1. But on December 16, it will already be replaced by another one of the announced free games for Xbox Live Gold members this month, "Shoot Many Robots.

Shoot Many Robots is an action platform game that was originally launched last year on Xbox Live Arcade, Windows PC and PlayStation Network. The game regularly comes with a $9.99 price tag but will be available for free from December 16 to 31.

Free games for Xbox Live Gold members is under the "Games with Gold" program of Microsoft, which was first launched during the E3 2013. This offering promises two free games for Xbox Live Gold members every month.

Meanwhile, aside from getting free games for Xbox One monthly starting in 2014, Xbox Gold Live members also get other exciting perks. According to Broadway World, FOX NOW is already available to Xbox Live Gold members in the United States for free. FOX Now is the official streaming service of Fox Broadcasting Company.

As posted on the site, "Introducing a bold new user interface designed to make watching TV easier than ever before, FOX NOW allows Xbox Live Gold members to stream full episodes of FOX's popular series as well as special video content, directly from their Xbox One."

FOX NOW was launched a little more than a year ago, and since then, it was already able to reach the 5-million downloads milestone. Aside from recently extending its compatibility to Xbox One, the streaming service is also available in various digital platforms. Currently, it can be downloaded on the iOS, Android and Windows 8 devices, as well as Samsung Smart TV, Roku and Xbox 360.

Download Gears of War now until December 15 as one of the free games for Xbox Live Gold members this month.
