Gisele Bundchen Instagram Photo With Daughter Creates Controversy! Is Tom Brady's Wife A Breastfeeding Advocate?

Gisele Bundchen's Instagram photo showing the model breastfeeding her daughter while being glammed up created a bit of controversy. Gisele Bundchen's hashtag, however, blew things over.

Gisele Bundchen's caption accompanying the Instagram photo was innocent enough: "What would I do without this beauty squad after the 15 hours flying and only 3 hours of sleep  #multitasking #gettingready"

After seeing the Instagram photo of Tom Brady's wife breastfeeding her daughter, Denise Albert, founder of the multi-platform site "The Mom," saw red.

"I think breastfeeding it's a very personal thing, it's a very personal choice and it should be private. And for her to put this on Instagram while getting her hair and make-up done is a little outrageous and obnoxious," she told "Good Morning America."

TODAY Mom's editor could not resist mocking the photo as she posted a selfie holding a baby, her hair in curlers and brushing her teeth. The photo published Dec. 11 on the TODAY website came with hashtags "#multitasking #havingitall #eatyourheartoutgisele #keepingitreal."

But there are always two sides to a controversy and other people came to her defense.

Jean McLeod wrote on The Mom site: "I can't believe the comments regarding the picture of Giselle breastfeeding, grow up, it's a lovely picture."

Daniel Vega commented on Yahoo!: "Most women would quit their job if they had a baby (unless they had to).The overly sensitive strike again."

Some moms have been at loggerheads with Gisele Bundchen after the Brazilian model and wife to athlete Tom Brady dismissed the weight issues post-birth as the women's fault.

"I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals," she said in an interview with Vogue magazine.

In another interview with Brazilian TV show Fantastico, Gisele described childbirth as "wasn't painful, not even a little bit. The second day, I was walking, I was washing dishes, I was making pancakes in the kitchen."

She also made a statement that there should be a law that forces women to breastfeed.

"I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months," Gisele Bundchen told Harper's Bazaar UK in 2010.

She later apologized for the statement as it drew criticisms given that there are women who are not able to breastfeed due to a several circumstances and conditions.
