Singer IU ranked #6 on Oricon Weekly Charts with her debut Japanese single ‘Good Day.’

The Japanese single released on March 21 ranked sixth on weekly chart for the week of March 19-25, also sold 21,000 copies. This is the first time for a Korean female solo singer to be in the Top 10.

The single grabbed number 8 on Oricon Single Chart on the day of its release.

A showcase was held earlier in January at the Orchard Hall in Shibuya and she won the hearts of Japanese fans performing live and hitting all the high notes. She performed alongside KARA at ‘Tokyo Girls Collection 2012 S/S’ at Yokohama Arena.Good
