Eminem, no stranger to controversy himself, wants to help out a "troubled" Justin Bieber. Selena Gomez couldn't do it with her Disney magic, but Eminem has seen all this before.

Canadian singer Justin Bieber can't keep himself out of the headlines for one scandal after another as he makes his way across the world on his latest world tour. According to media reports, rapper Eminem is sending out a lifeline to troubled pop star Justin Bieber, who has been surrounded by controversies since his breakup with Selena Gomez.

Contactmusic is reporting that Eminem, the 41-year-old rapper, invited Bieber, the 19-year-old tabloid darling, to spend the week between Christmas and New Year at his house.

A source told Contactmusic. "He's really hoping  he can sort Justin out. The way he's going, he's worried he's going to end up in really bad trouble. He wants to talk him into going to therapy and counselling to deal with the stress of fame in a positive way. Everyone is saying how they think he's a ticking timebomb."

Justin Bieber makes news consistently, between marijuana being found on his tourbus, to fighting with his neighbors, being photographed sneaking out of a Brazilian whorehouse, spraying graffiti, spitting on his fans from a hotel balcony and grieving over his "Come and Get It" girlfriend, Selena Gomez, it seems he barely has time for music.

The latest headline came from an overheard remark when Bieber reportedly called a young woman on an Australian beach in a bikini a "beached whale."

Whether Eminem will pull Justin Bieber out of his spiral or Justin pulls Eminem into one of his own, remains to be seen.

We hope there's a studio at Eminem's place. Maybe the two can spend some time recording. That's the kind of trouble we'd like to see.
