As the 2014 "Godzilla" movie looms ever closer, more information has surfaced regarding the mysterious kaiju named Muto.

As many "Godzilla" fans know, Muto is the speculated name of a monster that will grace the 2014 movie along with Godzilla, and Dread Central has the first glimpse of what it may look like.

Recently, a user on Imgur uploaded several photos showing what appears to be the Godzilla action figure to accompany the 2014 release.

However, underneath the pieces of the action figure also lies a photo that looks like the design for the Muto action figure, given that Muto is rumored to be a spider kaiju.

Along with the recent "Godzilla" trailer, there is also a viral website called M.U.T.O. Research, where fans can dig up Easter Eggs regarding this mysterious monster.

So far, two videos have been unearthed by fans after digging around the website. You can check both clips below and see if you can find any Easter Eggs of your own.

And while the 2014 "Godzilla" remake might debut a brand new monster with Muto, the other theory that is currently circulating the web is that M.U.T.O. is a codename for another classic Godzilla kaiju.

After all, it would be a shame if some iconic Godzilla monsters like Mothra or Hedorah do not make an appearance. Could Muto actually be hinting at the appearance of another classic "Godzilla" monster?

Check out this complete list of "Godzilla" monsters which have graced the franchise over the years. Which one would you want to see in the 2014 remake?
