There have been numerous reports that photos of Paul Walker's corpse were being shopped around. But there were no confirming reports that the images were real. No reporter had seen them. The Globe magazine quoted a source who says the images are disturbing and graphic.
The source said "The image is truly horrifying. The picture ... shows the bodies of the two victims [Walker and friend Roger Rodas] - and makes sure you can't miss them by outlining the corpses in color! It shows the inside of the Porsche after it was ravaged by fire... The bodies are severely burned and can be clearly seen lying inside the vehicle. Walker's body is still fairly intact. He has fallen backwards and his arms are spread apart. He is completely burned. No more clothes on his body."
On November 30, Paul Walker and his longtime friend Roger Rodas died in a car explosion in Southern California. The photos were shot at the accident scene. They captured both Walker and Rodas and the source says Rodas' body is "badly burned" as well - "Just his upper body can be seen."
The source told Globe magazine, "It's outrageous to think that the Walker or Rodas family could be surfing the internet and click on these pictures and see their relatives like this."
The source said the picture "shows the inside of the Porsche after it was ravaged by fire. The bodies are severely burned and can be clearly seen lying inside the vehicle. Walker's body is still fairly intact. He has fallen backwards and his arms are spread apart. He is completely burned. No more clothes on his body."
Firefighters spread a blanket over the corpses when they arrived at the scene.
