Tim McGraw and Faith Hill  hit by divorce rumors again. The country star couple have tried to ignore them, but the rumors have been hitting the media for months. Recent reports say Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are hurdling toward a messy divorce that will cost each other plenty.

Faith Hill, 46, and Tim McGraw, the son of baseball's Tug McGraw, decided they can't ignore these divorce rumor anymore. Instead of writing a song about it, which would be a natural for country music, if you're reading this hint hint, the country music couple went to People magazine to set the record straight.

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw work well together. They are currently co-headline a residency in Las Vegas called Soul2Soul. After a show in Las Vegas, Faith Hill told the magazine "[Rumors] seem to be running like crazy right now for some reason. It's perplexing. I don't know why 'happy' can't be a story."

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have been married for after 17 years and their marriage is doing fine. Faith Hill told Entertainment Tonight's Nancy O'Dell "We don't even know where this stuff came from. [The children] know the truth . . . the people that you're around they know the truth. I don't know why happiness doesn't sell. I don't know why tragedy sells and untruth sells!"

Tim McGraw, 46, and Faith Hill, 46, have three daughters Gracie, 16, Maggie, 15 and Audrey, 12. That's enough. Hill said "No more kids. Actually before we got married, that's how we knew . . . we talked about five [children] and then we made it to three."

Tim McGraw told People "We've been married 17 years, and since the first week we were married those things were out. We don't even think about it. The only time we ever think about it is [when we] worry about the kids. But they've been around it, too, so they laugh it off."

The National Enquirer reported in April that the marriage was on the rocks because McGraw felt like he was being mistreated by his wife. Reports said Hill accused McGraw of having "sexual chemistry" with Taylor Swift.

In August, Tim McGraw told the Huffington Post "The easy answer is just to shut up and not say anything, that's easy. But really it's a lot of give and take and it's a lot of no ultimatums."
