10cm Headed to LA - Acoustic Pop Duo to Hold First US Concert January 31

K-Indie titans 10cm will be among the first Korean artists to hold concerts stateside in 2014.

The acoustic pop duo will follow the likes of idol group U-KISS and pop rock band CNBLUE and hold a concert in Los Angeles on January 31.

For their first US concert, titled Buruda Concert Ver. 1: Hello 10cm!, the pair will hit the stage at Club Nokia LA Live.

After getting their start as street musicians in the hip Hongdae area of Seoul, 10cm began gaining notoriety across South Korea and beyond, and released their debut mini-album The First EP and hit single "Americano" and in 2010.

Comprised of jembe-playing vocalist Kwon Jung Yul and guitarist Yoon Chul Jong, 10cm is named for the difference in height of the two members.

They dropped a full-length studio album, 1.0, in 2011 and their popularity has been on the rise ever since.

Tickets for their first-ever United States show go on sale today, December 23, at 10AM PDT (1PM EST) and are set at $50, $60, $70, $100, and $120. Fans are able to purchase tickets for the show via axs.com and powerhouselive.net.

10cm will be one of three major Korean acts to perform in the United States next month. U-KISS and CNBLUE both announced tour plans earlier this month and both groups are planning both East and West Coast concerts.
