'Bond 24' Rumors: Ralph Fiennes 'Knows Nothing' About 'M' Character Ahead Of 2015 Release Date?

In the latest "Bond 24" movie rumors, Ralph Fiennes admits that he has almost no information about his character "M" in the upcoming James Bond film, which has a release date in 2015.

"I know nothing, I've not been told anything, I have no information, no dates, no sense of the journey of my character at all! I don't!" Ralph Fiennes told Reuters, the New York Daily News reports.

The 51-year-old British actor will play "M," the head of M16, in "Bond 24," the latest installment in the James Bond franchise. He will replace Judi Dench, who has portrayed "M" since 1995 and has appeared in seven James Bond movies.

"Bond 24" has a November 6, 2015 release date, starring Daniel Craig as James Bond and helmed by returning director Sam Mendes. Bond girl Naomie Harris is expected to reprise her "Skyfall" role as Moneypenny.

In the interview with Reuters, Fiennes also admitted that he no longer wants to play villains in movies, after portraying J.K. Rowling's deadly Lord Voldemort in "Harry Potter," and that he prefers playing Shakespeare roles.

"I don't want to play any more villains, I don't enjoy playing them, I've done it. I enjoy playing complicated people. We talk about good guys and bad guys, but it's reductive," Fiennes said. "I think I wanted to be an actor because of Shakespeare, and Shakespeare's characters are full of ambivalence and ambiguity. They start out as one thing and end up another, so if there's an interesting journey for a character and the audience have to work hard to follow the path of a character, I like that."

Hopefully his role as "M" will allow him to play a "complicated" person in "Bond 24."

Ralph Fiennes also talked about his upcoming film, "The Invisible Woman," in which he stars and directs. Fiennes' film chronicles the affair between Charles Dickens and actress Nelly Ternan. "The Invisible Woman" is out in limited release in U.S. theaters on Christmas Day, the New York Daily News reports.
