In season 9, episode 15, titled "Unpause," a significant point in Ted and the Mother's relationship will be revealed, spoilers tease.

According to Mstarz, Entertainment Weekly had a short spoiler snippet in its magazine about "How I Met Your Mother's" episode 15, which airs on January 20, 2014. The following scan was posted by Spoiler TV:

"Thanks to the time-twisting ways of How I Met Your Mother, we've already watched Ted (Josh Radnor) propose to the Mother (Cristin Milioti), but that's not the last milestone we'll see, co-creator Craig Thomas says. Unpause [airing Jan. 20] contains a pretty wonderful one,' he teases."

Mstarz speculates that this "wonderful" milestone may be when the Mother finds out she's pregnant with their first child, which will later become Ted's daughter, who we often see at the beginning of episodes sitting beside her younger brother on a brown couch. Another possibility is a flashforward to Ted's wedding to the Mother.

We've already seen the moment right before they first meet at the Farhampton train station, their trip to the Farhampton Inn, and Ted's proposal at the lighthouse. We also know that the 200th episode, which airs on Jan. 27, will focus on the Mother's perspective, and what she's been up to all these years while we've been following Ted's life.

Season 9, episode 15 of "How I Met Your Mother" will also likely show the development of Marshall and Lily's fight about his new judge job and her desire to follow her dream job in Rome, which the two "paused" when Marshall finally made it to the Farhampton Inn in the latest episode before the winter hiatus.

"How I Met Your Mother" season 9 returns January 13, 2014 with episode 14, "Slapsgiving 3: Slappointment in Slapmarra." The official synopsis for the final slap bet episode, which reportedly takes place entirely during Marshall's final slap to Barney in slow-motion, reads: "In an attempt to deliver a devastating final slap to Barney, Marshall explains how he mastered the Slap of A Million Exploding Suns. "
