The most recent Nexus 10 release date rumors are strongly indicating that Android fans might be able to see the new Google tablet during the Consumer Electronics Show happening next year.

Previous rumors about Nexus 10 2 release date suggested that the second-gen 10-inch tablet would arrive in the market as early as October. But days have already passed and until now, the highly-rumored Android slate is nowhere to be seen.

But since New Year is about to arrive already, the rumors are now pointing out to early 2014 as possible Nexus 10 2 release date, particularly during the CES 2014, which is a global trade show that happens every year. CES 2014 will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 7 to 10, according to Guardian Liberty Voice.

Google is still keeping its mum regarding the reports and rumors popping up online about Nexus 10 2 release date. But despite this, International Business Times posted two reasons why Nexus 10 2 release date will happen during CES 2014.

The first reason provided has something to do with Samsung rumored to reveal a new slate during CES 2014 event. Accordingly, the new tablet, which allegedly has a 10.5-inch AMOLED screen, could be the Nexus 10 2.

Earlier Nexus 10 2 release date speculations suggest that either ASUS or LG was the one chosen to create the upcoming slate. However,with this recent reports, Samsung is now the rumored manufacturer of the Nexus 10 2. It should also be noted that Samsung is the one responsible for the original Nexus 10 2, though it did not perform that well in the market.

Second reason provided is that Nexus 10 2 release date seems to be imminent already, as the current models of the Nexus tablets are already on their way out of their shelves, with all the promos and discounts offered for Nexus 7 2012 as well as the original Nexus 10.

As posted on Associated News, Google 10 2 may be equipped with specs such a 10.4-inch screen display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixel, as well as Tegra 4 processor or the Snapdragon 800 chipset from Qualcomm.
