CNBLUE Builds 'CNBLUE School' in Africa!

Idol group CNBLUE began a project by building a school in a small town of Niamadougou in Burkina Faso, Africa. On top of building the school, CNBLUE will make a donation every year for the maintenance and running of the school.

CNBLUE members decided to donate a partial amount of proceeds earned from album sales and concerts. The school will provide meals and after school classrooms for 100 kindergarteners and 1,000 elementary and middle school children.

Burkina Faso is known to be one of the most underprivileged countries in Africa and it is impossible for families to earn enough money to send their children to school. The children from Burkina Faso usually sell various items in the streets to help their parents. As a result of the poverty, there are many orphans and child abuse cases.

CNBLUE members wanted to create an opportunity for the kids to get an education for a brighter future which is why they began this project. 'CNBLUE School' opened in March and has been educating kids since day one.
