North Korea President Kim Jong-un Fed His Uncle To Dogs? Washington Post Said It Isn't True? Find Out Why

North Korean president Kim Jong-un was under fire last month for the execution of his own uncle for being a "despicable human scum, worse than a dog." International reports said that his kin, Jang Song-Thaek, 67, was sentenced to death by the court due to hideous crime as an attempt to overthrow the state by all sorts of intrigues and despicable methods.

The form of execution was not determined until today when a Hong Kong newspaper reported that the former North Korean general was allegedly fed to hundreds of dogs.

Earlier today, Wen Wei Po reported that the old man was stripped naked and thrown into a cage, along with his five closest aides. After that he along with other prisoners were thrown into 120 hounds that were starved for three days.

"Then 120 hounds, starved for three days, were allowed to prey on them until they were completely eaten up. This is called "quan jue", or execution by dogs," the article reads.

The 30-year old supreme leader's action has received backlash from different parts of the world, calling the act 'brutal' and meant to stop anyone from stealing Kim's power.

In South Korea, conservative protesters burn an effigy of Kim Jong-un during an anti-North Korea protest to mark the second death anniversary of his father.

While the news about Kim's 'feeding by dogs' spread to the web swiftly, an American report also quickly jumped to quash such 'hoax.' The Washington Post's Max Fisher explained that the report was particularly plausible and there were just some misunderstanding. He said the Hong Kong article isn't legit because it only made a claim and didn't mention any sources from North Korea. He also cited China and South Korea's silence over the past four weeks since the execution. He said that if there's anyone who knows a thing about the matter it should be from Beijing (North Korea's ally) and South Korea (it's main enemy).

Lastly, he quoted satirist Karl Sharo:

"The clue about the story of Kim Jong Un's uncle being fed to 120 hundred dogs being false is who has time to count dogs at a time like that." Okay, so that's not a real reason to disbelieve the story. But it was too funny not to include."
