Hey everyone, another year is here as well as week. "KBS Music Bank" is back with another year of great performances from your favorite K-Pop stars.

For this episode, three stars made their return to kick off the new year which were Girl's Day by singing about "Something", TVXQ also is thinking about "Something", and male group VIXX came out to do a special by performing "Thank You for My Love."

Your nominees for the first week of the new year were EXO and IU. Though it was the adorable IU who won last night for her song, "Friday." Congratulations to IU!!

So with this being said, let's get into the performance recaps for the new year of 2014!

Performance Recaps and Videos

Ladies Fresh came out to sing "Oh Ye Yo" which is kind of a catchy song by being young and fresh. The group are not yet really known and can be like the female group A Pink. They start out with a cute song for their debut and then raising their expectations each time they return. The wardrobe chosen with it being white, red, and black which gives off the image of purity as well as a little elegance for black and powerful for red.

SECRET said "I Do I Do" last night as they are ending their promotion this weekend. The ladies just recently made their comeback and are now ending their performances after fans were so excited for their return. Hopefully, the girls will take a little break and then make a quick comeback. So enjoy the ladies and say "I Do" love you SECRET and want them to make a return soon in the coming months.

Junhyung came out to sing about a special "Flower" which he truly loves and always remembers. His back-up dancers who does the awesome acrobats looks like they are not getting tired of doing it every time Junhyung does his performance which can get really exhausting once over. Ever wonder who this special flower is that Junhyung truly loves? Maybe Goo Hara?

Girl's Day really has "Something" going on as the concept of their music is like SISTAR's "Alone." While the performance was great and all, it was like I was watching SISTAR with their red dress. The ladies are more mature; though the song is indeed like SISTAR.

TVXQ is back and they definitely had "Something" to bring on-stage. Song is upbeat and gets you dancing by having a fast tempo. The use of props of the string is used great which shows that they rehearse every time before performing in order to not make a mistake. 

VIXX did a special stage performance by singing, "Thank You for My Love." The guys have numerous things to be loved for as another year is here which they know that the love between they fans will only increase as the months come.

Adorable NC.A came out to sing "Oh My God." Yes NC.A, I know that 2014 is here and you are surprised that it came so rapidly. The music always brings brightness as well happiness on-stage. Bubbles in the air gives off the cute ambience and youthfulness.

TASTY came out to perform the remix version of "Day 'n Night" which the crowd enjoyed. I like this version compared to the original one. Don't you agree because you can really see their great dance moves which they learned while they were rookies still in the US.

"Why Everybody" is what The Boss said to the audience last night. They love everyone and does not want to say bye so early which they finally had a full performance after all their short performances last year. This guys are really good and should never have a performance cut short.

AlphaBAT came out with in-sync choreography as well as teaches you the first seven letters of the alphabet by singing their upbeat tempo song "AB City." This guys are like BTS in-terms of the style of wardrobe they wear by having chains and having that b-boy style to it.

Hip-hop ladies group Wassup came out saying "Nom Nom Nom" last night by bringing energy. Style of wardrobe has the style like AlphaBAT with chains around the neck which shows the image of hip-hop flare to K-Pop. Truly shows that K-music can do any style.

Male group HISTORY asked the audience last night "What Am I To You" which the audience responded by screaming through their performance. Guys, you know what your fans are to all of you; great stars with awesome voices. Don't you agree that HISTORY are great singers?

Jevice said "Don't Answer the Phone" last night as they came out with their powerful vocals by being the young version of Davichi. Such awesome voices for both ladies. Still wondering though why not to answer the phone though. So please tell me ladies. Beautiful performance though Jevice by having roses on the screen which signifies beauty to the girls.

Lush is forgetting about "Yesterday" and moving on as they came out with their awesome voices. Wardrobe was very nice with them wearing black dresses which signifies elegance. This is what you should do right? Forget about yesterday and move on; especially if that day was terrible.

Heyne came out with her adorable song "Love 007" which she had some fan chants last night. Looks like she is gaining fans each time she performs and could possibly be like IU.

Other performances for the night were Younha and Sonya which all kept the audience entertained!
