"SBS Inkigayo" Round-up: IU Wins #1 on the January 5, 2014 Episode

Hey everyone! "SBS Inkigayo" is back for another week of great performances from your favorite K-Pop stars. Along with this are screaming fans and awesome stage settings! Your hosts for the night are ZE:A's Kwanghee, the beautiful Girl's Day's Minah, and Lee Hyun-Woo.

Last night's episode had two stars who made their returns which were TVXQ and Girl's Day who both sang about "Something."

The nominees for the night were Crayon Pop, EXO, and IU; though it was IU who won for her song "Friday." Congratulations to her as this is the 2nd consecutive win for the week in which IU won!!

With all this being said and all, here is the performance recaps from last night.

Performance Recaps and Videos

Girl's Day had "Something" going on last night as they decorated the stage with flowers. Looks like Minah is getting more attention on this song as she is basically the one singing the entire song. Hyeri has a few and the rest of the girls as well. The dance is alright and simple by flicking the slit on the clothes which shows their perfect legs which is okay if you want to see some skin. Though this song is reaching number one spots on the charts. The ladies also performed "Show U" which here Hyeri has more lines and is evenly distributed among the ladies. Each shows their beautiful voice. The camera person did a great job on focusing each of the girls which you can see that their make-up is neatly put on.

TVXQ performed one of the greatest performances last night for "Something." The stage setting was like Las Vegas with the bright lights. Yunho had little pants trouble because it seems like he has been ripping his pants due to the choreography. Fan chants were amazing as well because TVXQ are considered kings of Korean music. Also, the guys performed "Ten" which is kind of cool if you pay attention to the lyrics that the words highlighted in red are the songs in which they wrote for the past ten years. TVXQ, let's have ten more years of great music.

SECRET are leaving for now; though hopefully the girls will make their comeback really soon and cannot wait to see what concept they will bring. The ladies performed "I Do I Do" and fan chants were amazing which is a perfect way to end the ladies week of great performance with this song. We say goodbye for now and hope to see them really soon with an upbeat music comeback. Let's see what concept they will bring. SECRET fans, what style of concept do you want to see for their next comeback?

TASTY came out to perform the remix version of "Day 'n Night" which you can really hear their voices more with this one. Plus, it shows their awesome choreography as well which you can tell based on the audience screaming and all.

VIXX brought another cake on-stage for their fans as they sang "Thank You For my Love" which is a very beautiful song. The guys has numerous love from the fans and are only going to gain more this year.

Junhyung sang about a special "Flower" that is not going to leave his heart. The flower is probably really Goo Hara and he really loves her. Hopefully Junhyung can find another flower that has the same personality like her. Great performance and nice fedora Junhyung.

The Boss came out to sing "Why Goodbye" and definitely need to gain some more attention because they are almost like U-KISS and can climb and get numerous fans. Though unfortunately, the guys are not. Let's give them some more attention and give them more fans.

HISTORY performed "What Am I To You" and were still able to perform well even though their performance was cut short. This guys are really great and should gain more attention because they are good talented singers. They should never have a performance cut short.

Fresh came out to sing "Oh Ye Yo" and really do need to gain some exposure more because they are really talented and can be like A Pink. So please show some love for this ladies even though the audience did not really scream during their performance.

Hey Wassup, the girls came out to sing "Nom Nom Nom." Though the song was cut, they performed well. I think it is time for them to write a new song because they have been performing this song since last year.

Kim Jung-Seo brought the stage ambience of being "Hurt" since the song is truly sad. Their were candles and the atmosphere is truly depressing just like how Kim sounded. Wonder what happened? Maybe a loved one or a broke-up occurred.

Adorable Heyne came out to search for her "Love 007" as she is really like IU and can mature as the years come. She could possibly be up there like her as well. Looks like Heyne is getting some love with her cute voice.

Im Chae-Un came out with his ballad song "Depressing Habit" which this song toned it down after all the upbeat songs from last night. He truly has a magnificent voice which you can tell by hearing this song. Can Im sing a fast tempo song? Do not know; maybe he will write a new one soon.

Male group AlphaBAT had to cut their performance for "AB City" though were still able to perform great. So why is Beta wearing a face mask? Probably it is the concept or prop which looks good on him as well matches the wardrobe. So children, learn the dance moves as well the first seven letters of the alphabet.

Yang Ji-Won brought back Korean traditional music which is truly amazing. Yang sang "Ai Ya Ya" and combined traditional with modern which sounds great. While we listen to modern music, you cannot forget about traditional music as well. Yang is a great artist and should gain more attention as well.

Move in Key came out full of energy as well loving the gold necklace, shoes, jacket, and hat that some of the guys wore as they sang "Us." This guys are not bad and needs some exposure because the crowd just watched. They need fans like us to love and give them more attention.
