Crayon Pop's Junior Group Snakehead Releases First Album Teaser

On January 7, Snakehead (also known as K-Much) released their mini album 'Beyond the Ocean' on various music sites. They also uploaded the music video for the lead song, "Good to Go Full" on their official YouTube channel and website.

"Good to Go Full" tweaked the beats of Crayon Pop's "Bar Bar Bar" to sound more masculine and properly fit the boy group's image. Listeners will recognize and identify some parts of the new single with "Bar Bar Bar". As "Bar Bar Bar" was originally intended for a boy group, Snakehead's song also incorporates strong guitar sounds and robust beats. In addition, the smooth rap and contrasting "shouting-like" melody fuse together to produce a unique music style of Snakehead.

The music video is about a group of high school students becoming warfighters to save the Earth. It starts with the five boys putting together their helmets to summon the powers of the snakehead. At the end, the group's guardian angel Ellin (Crayon Pop) helps the boys defeat evil and become true heroes.

Despite the comical scenario, the Snakehead members are dressed like SWAT agents and display a good amount of charisma with their fierce glares and sharp dance moves.

Net users who watched the music video commented, "Snakehead's lead song is very catchy", "They are really good looking", "It is cool the inspiration of the song is Crayon Pop's 'Bar Bar Bar'", and more.

Snakehead will give their first stage performance on the music program 'The Show: All About K-Pop' on January 7.
