Demi Lovato Drug Rehab Update: Reaches Out To Ke$ha To Offer Support For Eating Disorder Treatment At Same Facility

Demi Lovato is very open about going to rehab for her drug addiction in the past. Now, Demi Lovato has reportedly reached out to Ke$ha to offer support for her decision to begin a 30-day treatment program for her eating disorder, at the same drug rehab facility Demi went to four years ago.

A Hollyscoop video reveals Demi Lovato contacted Ke$ha after hearing that the "Timber" singer was headed to rehab for her eating disorder.

It's also being reported that Demi was interested in having Ke$ha join her as a celebrity spokesperson about eating disorders, Wetpaint reports. Four years ago, Lovato attended the same rehab center, Timberline Knolls, outside of Chicago. She was facing bulimia, anorexia, self-harm, and a drug addiction.

We wish Ke$ha the best over the next month!

As we previously reported, Demi, 21, revealed to OK! magazine in a recent interview: "Some people can smoke and drink recreationally. I'm not one of those people," she said. "If I do that, it will spiral out of control very quickly. I've lost the privilege of being able to drink responsibly."

"I've definitely struggled a lot with drug and alcohol addictions - even more than with my eating disorder," she added.

"But I decided to stay strong when my father died. I worked so hard on my sobriety - I wasn't going to give it up."

She explained: "When I feel like I want to give up I think to myself, 'No, what about the 17-year-old girl that's been free of self-harming for nine months?' If I give up my sobriety, that would mean it would be OK for her to go back to self-harming.''

Demi was recently spotted reuniting with best friend Selena Gomez. Selena was there to support Demi when she made a rare visit to a drug addiction rehab center to speak to a recovery group about her drug abuse struggles last month, TMZ reports.
