As "Doctor Who" season 8 begins its very first week of filming, spoilers regarding Clara and Peter Capaldi's iteration of the Doctor have surfaced.

It would seem that as "Doctor Who" season 8 begins, Jenna Coleman's Clara and the Doctor will get off on a less-than-stellar start.

 “As a new Time Lord you need all the friends you can get, but he even has to win over his companion. Clara grew very attached to Matt and that shows in the opening episodes," said a source to the Mirror.

This seems to coincide with Steven Moffat's interpretation of Clara's relationship with Matt Smith's incarnation of the Doctor.

“Just as Clara’s learning to have a proper old crush on him, suddenly he’s Malcolm Tucker!" he said according to Doctor Who TV.

“People really love Jenna, so we make the Doctor quite difficult… I think the fun story will be – and we have the opportunity here – is this is what regeneration can do to you. He can be very, very different.”

Of course, these "Doctor Who" season 8 spoilers has nothing to do with the behind-the-scenes relationship between Jenna Coleman and Peter Capaldi, who appears very much friendly in the first official set photos of season 8.

Meanwhile, Matt Smith will be making his first post-Doctor con appearance at the Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con in February.

According to Huffington Post, Matt Smith will be in attendance to "greet fans, sign autographs, pose for photo ops and conduct an interactive Q&A during the event."

According to vague spoilers and speculations, "Doctor Who" season 8 is slated to premiere sometime in August or September.
