MBC will soon launch another music program called "Music Show: Songs From Our Youth" (suggested title). According to multiple sources, production and assembly for the show started last year. The show's concept is today's artists performing live popular songs from between the 70's and 90's. Idol stars or recent singers will perform renditions of the songs on stage, sometimes with the original singers performing the original version.

One insider said, "MBC wanted to try a new type of music program other than 'Show! Music Core'. This show will provide viewers a top-quality experience to enjoy classics right from their homes."

"Music Show: Songs From Our Youth" will be hosted by actress Kim Hyun Joo. Kim Hyun Joo had proved to be an outstanding host on the television show "Merry Christmas Sesibong" that aired last December 24.

Meanwhile, the show will be on Saturday late night television and will air the first episode in late January. Producer Sa Hwa Kyung, who directed popular Korean shows "Come To Play" and "Infinite Challenge", will be the producer.
