"Vampire Diaries" season 5 cast has something to celebrate! "Vampire Diaries" actress Olga Fonda, who plays Katherine's daughter Nadia in season 5, is engaged! Olga Fonda showed off her beautiful engagement ring at the 2014 People's Choice Awards.

According to Us Weekly, Olga Fonda got engaged to her boyfriend Liam Waite on New Year's Eve. On Wednesday, Jan. 8, the actress who plays Nadia on "The Vampire Diaries" showed off her sparkling new engagement ring for the first time, at the 2014 People's Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
"Happy New Year! Let the new year bring lots of love, happiness, and prosperity!!!" the Russian- born model wrote on her Twitter the night she got engaged. "Hoping all your dreams come true!!! XOXO."
Fonda, 31, and Waite dated for two and a half years before getting engaged. Fonda said that Waite, a former actor who's now in the hotel business, took her to the place where they shared their first kiss to pop the question, E! News reports.
"Then the whole city lit up with fireworks," Fonda gushed to E! News. "It was very romantic."
Olga stole the show at the 2014 People's Choice Awards, in a gray and black plunging outfit with beaded detail, Us Weekly reports. Olga kept her dark brown hair swept back and away from her fresh face, and showed off her diamond ring by placing her left hand on her waist during photos.
