The group MAMAMOO was founded by hit composer Kim Do Hoon himself. Before the group even debuts, they plan to release a project album with several other artists. "Don't Be Happy" is the first project.

MAMAMOO worked with Bumkey, who is noted to be one of the best mainstream soul artist.

"Don't Be Happy" is a work by the joint efforts of producer Kim Do Hoon and Esna. The two had previously worked together for Wheesung and Gummy's "Special Love." It has a beat with a point accent, and an unforgettable melody. The honest lyrics written to a gone lover is one of the key points of this R&B song.

MAMAMOO plans to work with other hit artists, and this project with Bumkey is only the beginning of many works to come.
