Nexus 10 2 Release Date, Specs Rumors: Next-Gen Google Tablet To Become A Powerful Gaming Device With Alleged NVIDIA Tegra 4 Processor?

Nexus 10 2 release date and specs rumor continue to emerge online after not appearing at CES 2014, which ends today, January 10

Google was rumored to release Nexus 10 2 during the Consumer Electronics Show 2014, scheduled from January 7-10. However, as the event is about to end already, the highly-anticipated second-generation tablet from the internet search giant is still nowhere to be seen.

Because of this, the mobile industry remains curious about the possible Nexus 10 2 release date. As for the latest speculations about Nexus 10 2 release date, the tablet might just be launched when the fans are least expecting it.

As posted on International Business Times, citing a report from Paul Briden on Know Your Mobile, Nexus 10 2 release date will likely happen, "but come the stock Android tablet's debut time, all the fanfare that usually attends a major gadget outing will be absent - all in line with Google's original plan."

Furthermore, the post reads, "...the slate will only become real when Android fans least expect it. In other words, release date of the device will happen in almost total silence.

In addition to this Nexus 10 2 release date rumor, the tablet is expected as well to be packed with a NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor. This is different from previous Nexus 10 2 release date and specs grapevines suggesting that that Android slate will feature a Snapdragon 800 chip from Qualcomm.

Reportedly, a leaked benchmark test was cited by Motoring Crunch, which hinted that the upcoming tablet will be getting the Tegra 4 chipset.

If the Nexus 10 2 will actually get a Tegra 4 processor, this would mean that the game will be a powerful mobile device for gaming. And according to a separate post from International Business Times, Tegra 4 is regarded as one of the apposite processors for gaming.

Stay updated for more Nexus 10 2 release date, specs rumors in the coming days and weeks.
