M.C. The Max Locks Down Number 1 And 5 Spots On The Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 With 'Wind That Blows' And 'White Night'

Rock group M.C. The Max took over the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 this week, with four songs from their album "Unveiling," released on Jan. 2, debuting in the top 10.

"Wind That Blows" is currently at number one on the Billboard chart, "Our Past" is at number five, "White Night" is at number six and "Word of Lip" is at number nine.

M.C. The Max is the first Korean rock band to have this much of an impact on the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 since Busker Busker released their smash "2nd Album" back in September.

For the second week in a row, solo singer Lyn snagged the number two spot on the Billboard chart with her new single "My Destiny."

My Destiny," was Lyn's contribution to the soundtrack for the drama "You Who Came From The Stars."

The song soared to the top of the Korean charts late last month, topping MelOn, Naver, Daum, Olleh, Mnet, Bugs, Soribada, Cyworld and Genie.

After a two-week run in the number one spot on the Billboard K-pop chart, "Friday" solo artist IU's duet with HISTORY singer Jang Yi Jeong, was bumped down to number three this week.

The four-member K-pop girl group Girl's Day entered the top five this week as their single "Something" debuted at number four.

Billboard reporter Jeff Benjamin predicts the song "might prove to be the group's hottest moment yet."

Other notable mentions on the Billboard K-Pop chart include Rain's slinky new comeback single "30 Sexy," which debuted at number eight this week.

The song is the first release from the singer-turned-movie star since he completed his two years of mandatory military service in the South Korean army back in July.
