T-ARA Hyomin Japan Movie ‘Jinx’ To Release February 13th

Japanese movie Jinx starring beloved T-ARA member Hyomin is scheduled for release on February 13th!

Jinx is the first Japanese movie that Asia star Hallyu girl group T-ARA's Hyomin will be starring in. This popular girl group member has been cast in this Japanese movie, which has been gathering great attention from Korea, Japan, and other Asian countries.

Japanese director Kumagawa has taken the megaphone for this movie. He's directed works such as Yu Aoi's "Letter" and Juri Ueno's "Rainbow Goddess." Director Kumagawa is known for bringing a fresh and beautiful world to the screen, and for vividly capturing the feelings of the actors on screen. Affectionately referred to as the 2nd Iwai Shunji, director Kumagawa is popular among even the Korean viewers.

Kumagawa has always been known to direct only the most talented actors in these youth-focused films, and he has casted Hyomin for the lead role. As any fan of K-Pop already knows, Hyomin is member of T-ARA, one of the hottest girl groups in Korea. Hyomin has also proven herself as a Korean actress in works such as the movie Ghastly, Korean drama "My Girlfriend Is a Nine-Tailed Fox," and "Gyebaek." Hyomin will be working with some of the most popular and talented Japanese actors Kurumi Shimizu and Kento Yamasaki. These three talented actors will be coming together to create one of the best casts never seen before.

Jinx is a story of love and friendship between Jiho (played by Hyomin), Kaede (played by Kurumi Shimizu), and Yuusuke (played by Kento Yamasaki). Jiho is a student who loses her lover in an accident and decides to study abroad in Japan. Jiho acts as a lover messenger between her Japanese friend Kaede and Kaede's first love Yuuusuke.

The movie Jinx will highlight the emotional and beautiful love of lively teens, and is scheduled for release on February 13th.
