"Doctor Who" is just beginning filming for season 8, and writer Phil Ford is ready to dish some spoilers!

Recently, Doctor Who TV revealed that writer Phil Ford will be scripting episode 2 of season 8. He has contributed numerous stories to "The Sarah Jane Adventures," a "Doctor Who" spin-off.

“I’m over the moon in a TARDIS! And I don’t know how I’ve managed to keep quiet about it for so long!" exclaimed Ford.

"It’s a huge honor to write for Doctor Who at any time, to be writing Peter Capaldi’s second adventure is that to infinity! I can’t wait to get on to set!”

Right now, spoilers confirm that "Doctor Who" season 8 is currently filming the premiere episode, written by executive producer Steven Moffat and directed by Ben Wheatley.

“This time I’ve made sure we’ve got a bunch of characters around him so that we can have a new Doctor introduced and we can push that Doctor a bit further if you’ve got a familiar world around him," said Moffat regarding the season 8 premiere.

Indeed, recent set photos revealed that "Doctor Who" season 8 premiere will not only feature Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman, but Neve McIntosh as Madame Vastra, Catrin Stewart as Jenny Flint, and Dan Starkey as Strax.

Spoilers and rumors also suggest that it is possible the Daleks will make a return in episode 2, but what does Phil Ford have to say about his episode?

"Behind enemy lines."
