Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date Version Includes Vehicle Weapons? Developer Tetsuya Nomura Reveals Game Details

Kingdom Hearts 3 developer Tetsuya Nomura revealed during a recent interview that keyblade weapons being used as vehicles will be just one of the many capabilities in the game.

"According to suggestions from the planning side, it'll likely be used as some sort of gimmick. The Keyblade has infinite [possibilities]," he mentioned during the interview.

Kingdom Hearts 3 may have a release date before 2015 as character voice tapings are being finalized this summer, MonitoringCrunch.com reports.

"At the moment, Haley [Sora's voice actor]  hints that the developers are hard at work. The voice actors are only needed once the game's fundamentals and establishment are done and dealt with. Haley also added that sometimes other voice actors are called upon to play Sora if an event where the protagonist doing some time traveling is to happen," the website writes.

"Haley then concluded that he believe that once the mechanical aspect of the production is done, then he will start recording the scripts. This could be as early as summer. If so, then fans can expect Kingdom Hearts 3 to arrive before 2015."

But Kingdom Hearts 3's release date may not be announced until 2015 and may come as far away as 2016, several gamers predicted in a recent forum.

"...he [Tetsuya Nomura] has said that late 2015 is the SOONEST the game will be released, and it's not very likely the game will be released until 2016," one gamer wrote on a GameFaqs.com board.

"I say 2015 because KH3 most likely won't be released until 2016," another fan posted.

Kingdom Hearts 3 developer Tetsuya Nomura announced that the game will continue to receive new upgrades and will have keyblade capabilities with "infinite possibilities, Siliconera.com reports.

"It seems like everyone was happy, so I'm glad about that," Nomura said, according to the site.

"However, while we know how far we've come from a development point of view, what we showed still has 'ways to go'."
