According to The BoomBox, Mariah Carey revealed the release date for her 2014 album during her appearance on NBC's year-end program, "New Year's Eve with Carson Daly."
Mariah Carey said that her album will arrive spring 2014, and her new single will drop on February 14.
The album, titled "The Art of Letting Go," was pushed back for a 2014 release after the singer dislocated her shoulder while filming the music video for "#Beautiful"; she tripped in her high heels.
"I really need people to understand what I've been through since [the injury], and if this were to be my last album, people would hear everything that they needed to hear, so I just needed to make that arc really clear," Mariah told Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live."
Mariah also teased an upcoming collaboration on her new album.
"There's a collaboration that's happening as we speak, and I'm very excited about it," she shared. "We've collaborated before, but it wasn't released as a single. I don't want to give it away 'cause the true fans will know."
Hmm, any ideas who the singer could be, Lambs?
Meanwhile, Mariah's husband Nick Cannon is making headlines for his comments on how they keep their marriage fresh after six years together.
"Lots of sex!" Nick said.
