A Japan media released an article starting that KARA Kang Jiyoung and Supernova Gunil were dating.

However, both sides have stated that they are not sure if this is true and avoided the rumor.

Kang Jiyoung's agency, DSP Media stated, "We heard about the article release. This rumor has been going around since last year. From what we know, this is false."

Supernova's agency stated, "We are not sure if this is true either. We know that the two are friends and that they recently acted in a Japan drama together, but they are not dating."

A Japan media released an article that stated that the two began dating last October and that they became close as they filmed a drama together.

The article also stated that Kang Jiyoung's reasoning for going abroad was because of Gunil, who was born in Germany and had study abroad experience.
