Group 2PM has been gaining much attention for being the first K-pop group to grace the cover of Japan 'CanCam' magazine.

CanCam is a famous fashion magazine that created a boom in the 80s. 2PM has been given the honor of being the first Korean artists to be featured on the cover.

This is also the first time in 12 years that a male artist has been featured on the cover as well. The last male artist to cover the magazine was in 2001.

CanCam commented, "When we first heard of 2PM, we knew that they were on a different scale. We wanted to showcase the group's sexiness and manliness on the cover page."

2PM is also gaining much attention for their upcoming album release as well.

Their 3rd album, Genesis of 2PM, which will release on January 29, has already has its title song, "Step by Step" and other song, "Merry-go-round" has already ranked number 1 on the Recochoku Ringtone chart.

A total of 6 of their songs has already topped the charts even before the actual album release.

2PM commented, "We want to truly thank everyone who has supported us. We will continue to be a better 2PM."

On the other hand, 2PM will begin their arena tour in Japan on January 27, starting in Nagoya.
