Hilary Duff Moves On From Mike Comrie Split! Former Disney Star Records New Album

Former Disney star Hilary Duff has moved on from the surprising split with husband Mike Comrie earlier this month as she is busy working on her follow-up album to the 2007 hit, "Dignity."

Hilary Duff said that she and her producer are "working on something crispy" for her upcoming album, according to UK's Reveal.

She went to the studio session on Tuesday, January 21, and spent quality time with Lisa Stelly, the wife of former reality TV star, Jack Osborne, the website said.

In August last year, Hilary Duff posted on her Twitter account that they are explosing "a lot of cool options" for the follow-up album.

Meanwhile, Us Magazine reported that both Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie tried all methods in order to make their three-year marriage work but she feels that her husband "didn't put enough effort into the relationship."

The source told Us that when a career-ending injury forced Mike Comrie into retirement in 2012, he stopped doing anything and was just at home. Although he could certainly afford to be lazy considering his family's $500-million fortune, "the spark was no longer there."

According to TMZ, Hilary Duff, 26, and former NHL star, Comrie, 33, got hitched on in August 2010 in Santa Barbara. On March 20, 2012, Duff gave birth to their son, Luca. They started seeing each other in 2007.

In announcing their split, the representative of Hilary Duff said in a statement: "They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time."

The actress also posted a tweet on January 11: "Mike and I are sitting here,we are so appreciative for all of your kindness& well wishes. Not an easy day but we're getting thru it together."
