SBS ‘Gary’s New Song Is Too Obscene For Broadcast’

Hip hop duo Leessang Gary's new song "Shower Later" was judged unsuitable for broadcast by SBS.

SBS commented, "We deliberated and decided on the 14th that both the song and music video for 'Shower Later' will not be broadcast on SBS."

The rep continued, "The released music video depicts a great number of sexual scenes, and the lyrics contains explicit words and content as well" in explanation of their decision.

Gary released the songs "Shower Later" and "Zotto Mola" from his 1st solo mini album MR GAE through various music sites on January 15th.

Gary himself participated in writing the lyrics, Gray produced it, and Crush featured as vocals in "Shower Later." It's a song that talks about two lovers sleeping together. It also features some racy lyrics, including "I want to talk in your bosom," "Your white skin under the light reflection" and "You make me rough."

The music video features many women wearing outfits that reveal deep cleavages, who look like they're looking to seduce someone with their eyes and their suggestive body movements. They strike many poses that resemble explicit sexual activity.

Do you agree that Gary's "Shower Later" should stay off the air?
